In 1977, Boston Children's Hospital School of Nursing elected to phase out their diploma school and merge their resources with ҹ첥. As the first Nursing program in the State of Massachusetts to be accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, we pride ourselves on delivering a rigorous, world- class, educational experience that prepares graduates to provide the highest quality of nursing care.

President Jay Gonzalez announced at his Inauguration this afternoon that ҹ첥 will be the first college in Massachusetts to offer a job guarantee program, called The Curry Commitment, beginning with the current freshmen Class of 2027.

ҹ첥 Launches New Major in Exercise Science

Identifying the increasing societal need for health professionals with unique skill sets, ҹ첥 has officially launched a major in Exercise Science which will roll out this fall. In Massachusetts alone, the job growth for the Exercise Science field is projected to be nearly 30% by the year 2032.

No, you read that right, the School of Nursing recently received a grant to build a unique simulated participant program that trains theatre students to act as patients in real-life clinical scenarios.

ҹ첥’s Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Jay Gonzalez as the College’s 15th president. The board’s unanimous decision was the culmination of a thoughtful and thorough search process that was conducted over the past eight months. Gonzalez has a deep breadth of experience in the law, government, education, politics, advocacy, and business leadership.
